Aim of the subject:

In context of the business acitivity, the aim of the course is to give, a comprehenisve and systematic knowledge on the basic rules of state and administrative law, the organisational law of economics, the company law and the company registration law as well. Private Law.

The concept of law. Social relationships regulated by law. Functions of law in the socio-economic life. Fundamental legal institutions. Conception, characteristics and functions of the modern state. Distribution of power. The nation state, the confederation and the federal state. The legislative and the executive powers. Jurisdiction. Characteristics of the Anglo-Saxon and continental systems of business law. The development of the system of the Hungarian business law. Basic legal instutitions of the state to manage the economics.

Organisations and enterprises as the subjects of law: conceptional questions. International models of company law. The development of the Hungarian company law. General rules of the Hungarian Company Act. Internal organisation of companies. The law of company registration, the registration proceedings and the company registry. Companies with a partnership profile. Companies limited by shares. Concept and types of securities. Competition law. EU directives and regulations on companies and competition: their execution in the Hungarian law. The concept of the contract of employment, its conceptual and contentual elements. Commercial contracts with an international element, the international private law.
