Subject is based on:
Fundamentals of statistics: continuous distributions, hypothesis testing (one and two sample t-test, F-test) and design and analysis of full factorial designs
As the MSc level training (tuition) is of advanced level, it assumes a solid basis of previous statistical studies. Therefore the applicants will be split based on assessment of the BSc core subject. Those who do not have the required knowledge to be gained from the BSc subject will participate in the BSc course (BMEVEVMA606), while those proved to be on the advanced level will participate in the MSc course.
Requisities:
-
Aim of the subject:
To learn one of the most important and widely used statistical method, the analysis of variance.
To deepen the knowledge attained in the introductory (BSc) course about factorial designs.
