Aim of the subject:
Students are to acquire a mastery of the methodology of laboratory practice necessary to complete tasks in the fields of the pharmaceutical industry and the research-development sector of the organic chemical industry, and to successfully participate in the MSc studies. The aim of the laboratory practice is to carry out organic chemical reaction sequences, to learn about modern organic reactions, procedures and separation techniques, and to learn the requirements of conducting independent research (this involves the demonstration and practice of the structure elucidation of organic compounds, as well as the introduction of the methods of current organic chemical literature search, online search, the use of monographs and series, and the practice of the application of softwares).
