Curricula in English at the Faculty of Chemical Technology and Biotechnology
Studies in English are open both for international and local students. Full-time and mobility students are also welcome! As the faculty's educational expertise covers the areas of biochemical engineering, chemical engineering, and environmental engineering, besides the complete English curricula in chemical engineering bachelor and master, further courses related to biochemical engineering and environmental engineering are offered in English as well.
The Faculty’s educational system corresponds to the three-cycle structure applied both in the European Union and in the United States:
The program is organised in a credit system, providing a relatively high degree of freedom in subject selection. Students in the BSc program receive a thorough introduction to scientific fundamentals and engineering basics before starting their specializations in the fifth semester. A BSc degree is a necessary prerequisite for an MSc course enrolment. The master curriculum is highly flexible and favors individual project-based learning. A four-year PhD program is also available in all majors the Faculty offers. All these curricula (available by clicking the links above) have been carefully prepared to meet the needs and challenges of the actual career opportunities both in developed and developing countries.
