Aim of the subject:

The main goal of the course is to offer information to students about differences between polymers and plastics, and to call attention to most of the special characteristics of plastics. It describes the production of the most common heterogeneous polymer systems (blends, particulate filled polymers, composites) produced in large quantities and the most important factors determining their properties. The course gives examples for the application of these materials.
