Aim of the subject:
The objective of the course is to survey the main types of materials which build up the living organisms, and which are producedor incorporated by these organisms. It shows the differences between the synthetic and biomaterials, describingtheir structural, physico-chemical and functional properties. It deals with the basic chemical and nanotechnological processes by means of these materials can be manufactured and reveals the structural and physicochemical background of diagnostic tests.
