Basic knowledge in macromolecular chemistry, polymer physics

Aim of the subject:

The course aims to increase the knowledge of the students on raw materials, on their processing and on the specific characteristics of polymers, to offer information about the characterization and measurement techniques used in quality control and to present specific examples for the application of these techniques. The students get acquainted with several special measurement techniques not used during their BSc studies and each student develops individually a testing strategy for the solution of a quality or processing problem taken from industrial practice or for the development of a new product
