Aim of the subject:
The aim of the subject is to provide Students with an insight into the algorithms used in process-simulation softwares commonly used nowadays. Through the algorithms used for phase-equilibrium calculations and the description of separation columns operating in a steady state, Students familiarize with the iteration processes involved in such softwares. The confident and correct handling of phase-equilibrium calculations may serve as a basis for more complex simulation tasks involving separation procedures.
