Aim of the subject:
The course aims to teach the basics and methods of mathematical statistical treatment of measured data and to teach the design and analisys of the most basic full factorial designs. During the theoretical lectures and practical exercises students learn the theoretical background of the statistical analysis of data and the most important statistical methods including hypothesis testing, parameter estimation, correlation and linear regression. Practical skills will be obtained through design of experiments and the statistical analysis of measured data.
