Aim of the subject:
The subject gives a summary of the fundamental concepts and problems of bioinformatics. It provides overview of the databases and analysis programs available via Internet so as i) To build up an ability independent problem solving regarding the basic routine problems related to protein sequences and structures; ii) To provive the students with a fundamental bioinformatics knowledge necessary to understand the research articles in biotechnology, biology as well as the environmental sciences
