Subject is based on:

Basic knowledge in biotechnological and bioengineering processes (e.g. Monod kinetics, chemostate fermentation, oxygen mass transfer processes, etc.)

Aim of the subject:

The subject gives an overview on the effects of the different parameters influencing the biodegradation processes, and presents engineering aspects and case studies for establishing cost-effective and efficient treatment technologies.
