Aim of the subject:

Environmental risk management of chemical substances and contaminated sites require application of new, innovative engineering tools. The main aim of the subject is to help the students survey and get familiar with this modern engineering tools.

Within this topic the focus will be on the risk management tasks on different levels (global, regional, local), on the risk characterization and risk reduction methods, on the application of the suitable engineering tools in environmental risk management tasks, especially on risk assessment and monitoring, moreover on the environmental risk reduction techniques. Innovative decision support tools for risk based environmental management are included.
