Subject is based on:
Physical chemistry, Investigation methods in materials science
Aim of the subject:
The chemical engineers during their professional/experimental work often meet different traditional and modern metallic and ceramic materials. The subject-matter of instruction, the training would like imprint the knowledge based on these two subjects. Important knowledge of natural science and engineering that make possible production, processing and appropriate application of metallic and ceramic functional materials will be discussed.
The further aim of the subject is to present – according to the material science’s aspects – how can the metals, alloys and complex metallic matrixes as well as modern industrial ceramics and associated systems satisfy the demand of the modern economy.
