Aim of the subject:

The aim of the course is to introduce the methods and equipment of scuba diving, the role of scuba diving in environmental sampling and underwater measurements. The physical and physiological foundations of scuba diving are reviewed along with the functions and components of diving equipment and the methods enabling safe scuba diving. Introduces the underwater environment, both from the aspect of recreational and scientific dives. The course also prepares the students for the open water diver test.
