The most important trends and rules determining the physical and chemical properties of the elements and simple chemical compounds, such as the: Periodic system, redox properties, complexing abilities, acid-base properties. Physical and chemical properties of the elements and basic inorganic compounds (hydrides, halides, oxides, common inorganic acids and bases) The chemistry of industrialy important inorganic systems.
