Classical and instrumental analytical chemistry, as well as analytical laboratory practice.
The aim of the subject is to give an overview of whole area of analytical chemistry, and to present and discuss state-of-the-art methods and instruments in analytical chemistry. The students will be trained to understand, process and present clearly information in scientific papers published in the top international journals. They are expected to critically evaluate results and claims. They will develop their presentation and discussion skills. During the laboratory practices they will get expertise on performing accurate analytical measurements; they will become familiar with radioanalysis, as well as with micro- and nanofabrication technologies. They will get an insight in the operation of an analytical company and the main steps of the workflow of chemical analysis.
