Aim of the subject:
The subject aims to get the student acquainted with the excipients of biologically active materials (including especially pharmaceuticals and pesticides), the concepts of material selection, the types of biocompatible materials, their preparation, physical-chemical background, and technology with special emphasis on the controlled release of drugs. The presentation of the content of the subject happens mainly at the seminars by the use of demonstration tools.
