Aim of the subject:

The aim of Catalysis in organic chemical industry is to familiarize the chemical engineer MSc students with process engineering, analytical or materials science specializations about the typical and up-to-date catalytic processes of the organic synthetic chemical industry supported by basic organic chemical knowledges (structures and chemical properties of molecules). In addition, this subject amends/improves the students’ previous learning about the development of organic chemical industrial technologies and the scale-up of organic chemical processes.
