Aim of the subject:
Fundamentals of solid waste technologies, covering the entire life cycle of wastes. Definition and generation of waste, waste categories. EU and Hungarian legal regulations. Waste related risks. Waste characterisation. Fundamentals of low waste and low resource technologies. Selective collection, reuse and recycling technologies. Final waste disposal techniques.
