Aim of the subject:

The subject gives an overview of the industrial applications of enzymes, including the non-traditional enzymatic technologies. The main groups of enzymes (amylases, cellulases, peptidases, lipases, and pectinases) are discussed in presentations given by the lecturers. The enzymes of the relevant industries are reviewed in the form of presentations given by student groups.
